Summer Institute of Linguistics Papua New Guinea (SIL-PNG) is advertising the Language Program Manager role and looking for someone who wants a challenge and change of scenery to live in Ukarumpa, Kainantu and become part of a dynamic team supporting the work of Bible Translation. The person we are seeking must be highly skilled and motivated professional who will be responsible for the design, management and implementation of the Gulf Delta Cluster Project and oversee the day to day general operations of planning and budgeting for both workshops, facilities and other activities and must have a servant heart to serve.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Grade 12 Certificate (or equivalent) and two years training or experience in project management.
• Must speak, read and write English and Tok Pisin well.
• Ability to give clear and culturally appropriate directions.
• Ability to work in and travel to remote translation projects.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Familiarity with project funding and its requirements, or ability to learn them
• Ability to use office utility software and Google files etc.
• Good knowledge of language-related software (e.g. Paratext and Bloom) or the ability to learn them.
