Our Lihir operation in Power & Utilities Team is now recruiting for the position of Superintendent – Operational Transformation.

As a Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in leading our business improvement initiatives for the Process Plant. This role focuses on enhancing operational routines and ensuring strict compliance to all relevant Newmont’s processes and procedures. This is a critical position aimed at driving operational excellence and continuous improvement within our organization.

The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience and extensive knowledge in leading a broad range of business improvement methodologies in mining or complex plant operations and maintenance.

You will be accountable for supporting the development of operator routines and system guidance by providing leadership coaching and support to frontline leadership teams across operational and maintenance teams.
