About the role

The primary purpose of the role is to oversee and manage all site service maintenance activities across the K92 Camp, Plant and Mine site focusing on best practices and maintaining safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity of work.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Providing leadership to the Operational Services team to provide effective maintenance activities throughout the site.
• Support and assist the planning team to ensure the rectification of identified defect equipment to improve and optimize availability and reliability targets.
• Work closely with the Cor-Ordinator operational services to assess performance and identify improvement projects to maximize results, reduce risk and implement cost management initiatives.
• Establish a high-performance culture by motivating team members to achieve a high level of performance and by rewarding and recognizing high performance.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have Engineering Degree such as Mechanical/Civil//Electrical/Project Management, Engineering Diploma, or relevant Trades designation with ten (10) years related experience, preferably in Mining or Construction. In addition to this, you will have some or all the following.

• Five (5) years relevant operations experience in the mining industry in a supervisory capacity, plus two (2) years in a project management capacity.
• Ability to prove your commitment to Safety, Health, & Risk, and Environment standards.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment is an asset.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office suite, including Microsoft Project. Experience in the use of Pronto will be advantageous.
