We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Credit Analyst to join our Commercial lending team and lead our efforts in making consistent and prudent lending recommendations for our business.

ABOUT THE ROLE

To assist the Commercial Lending team in making consistent and prudent lending recommendations. This will ensure compliance with Moni Plus Credit Policy and Risk Appetite Statements, ultimately maximizing company’s profitability and minimizing risk.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING WITH YOUR EXPERIENCE

Quality Control

• You will maintain Commercial Credit Application write up to HML Standard. Continuously maintain and monitor Credit Quality, the Credits 5 “C” and HML’s credit assessment criteria threshold ensuring profitability and minimized risks.
• Analyse financial statements and other financial data to establish credit worthiness of borrowing clients (individual or companies)

Compliance with AML and CTF Policy

• You will ensure all credit application memorandum submission is fully compliant with AML and CTF policy including own training and development in relations to AML & CTF.

Understand Credit Policies, Processes and Procedures

• You must demonstrate sound understanding, interpretation and compliance with all Credit Policies, Processes and Procedures and ensuring delivery of a standardized end-to-end Credit process.

Problem Solving

• You will collaborate with the Commercial Lending team to identify inefficiencies in credit application process for quality improvements, and take lead in implementing the initiatives through communication and targeted trainings.

Maintain Stakeholders Relationship

• You must ensure Commercial Lending Strategic initiative is achieved; maintain quick credit response times, frequency of contacts with stakeholders, your staff workflow management check-ins, and Business workshop and credit discussion.

Improve Customer Experience

• You Identify and take advantage of opportunities for improvement of systems and processes in the lending function to assist HML in continued improvement in, as well as minimizing of operating costs in the delivery of service above customer expectations.

Leadership Development

• You will take ownership of own development and upskilling of staff through active participation in Credit team meetings, ongoing contribution to Credit training programs, mandatory inhouse training as well external continuous professional developments.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING WITH YOUR BACKGROUND

• Tertiary Qualification in Finance & Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years or more in Banking and Financial Lending experience.
• 2 years’ experience in Commercial or Corporate Lending is desirable.
• Possess excellent Leadership abilities and willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
