PRINTING SERVICES

Sales Executive

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving the sales and growth of the Printing Services by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, meeting revenue targets, and mentoring junior sales staff. The Sales Executive must have deep knowledge of the printing industry and be skilled in managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve Department objectives and revenue goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Work with the Public Relations Office to plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive sales.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Lead in client meetings, negotiations, and deal closings.
  • Assist in setting sales targets and monitoring team performance to meet or exceed those targets.
  • Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
  • Track sales KPIs and ensure they align with the Department goals.
  • Recommend improvements to sales processes and policies to enhance team performance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely delivery of printing services and to provide feedback on client requirements.

Job Requirements

The successful candidates must have a Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field with at least 5+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably within the printing industry. She or he should have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and is familiar with the printing production processes. In addition, the candidates should have a strong understanding of the printing industry, including different printing techniques and products (e.g., offset printing, large-format printing, etc.), have excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to lead and mentor a sales team, be proficient in using CRM software and other sales management tools, be organized and manage time effectively, and possess the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Conditions of Service

Senior Technical Officer I/II: K35, 751.00 – K49, 843.00 per annum

Domestic Market Allowance: K1, 200.00 – K1, 800.00 per annum

(Level of appointment depends upon qualification and experience)
