High Arctic is an international drilling contractor, operating in PNG. We now seeking to employ experienced Rig Electricians to join our field operations team (to be based either in Hela or Southern Highlands Provinces) and to be employed on a rotational roster.

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

Rig Electricians

• Must have recognized trade qualifications/apprenticeship
• Have a valid PNG Power Electrical License
• Must have three (3) years of validated experience with drilling rig equipment or similar

Candidates with experience in working on AC variable frequency drives, DC control systems, digital and analogue instrument systems, Hazardous area-rated equipment, VFD’s and PLC’s will be an advantage.
