PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR – COMMERCIAL LAYERS

Zenag Chicken is the longest established and leading producer of high-quality chickens and eggs in PNG. Established in 1946 with its corporate HQ in Lae Industrial Centre and Poultry Farm based outside of Lae which supplies quality eggs and chicken throughout PNG.

We are looking for qualified Production Supervisor who will oversee and manage daily production operations in the farm. This is a ‘hands on’ role for a person with supervisory experience in Agri industries. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring and Supervising the effectiveness of technical and management programs
• Supervising subordinates’ daily performance of scheduled activities
• Track flock performance manage bird transfers and performs regular equipment checks.
• Ensuring that all daily records are always updated and accurate.
• Providing reports of the daily scheduled activities
• Guide, counsel, and discipline employees on work-related issues as necessary.

Job Requirements

• Minimum diploma graduate in Agriculture or any other Agri science course from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in an Agri business
• Must poses excellent verball and written communication skills
• Proficient in computer literacy
• Must be flexible with working hours
• Must have good leadership skills
