About the role:

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Product Support Representative to join our Sales & Marketing Department Team based in Lae, Morobe Province.

This role primarily exists to develop collaborative and trusted customer business relationships focused on optimizing equipment performance and identifying the customer’s key business drivers and opportunities to meet the parts and service sales budget profitability.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, your competency and experience will include:

• Ensure safety goals are achieved through personal commitment, no harm to self or others and participation in safety initiatives.
• Proactively seek and maintain collaborative working relationships with peers and manager to deliver results.
• Ensure immediate customer satisfaction is achieved through use of initiative.
• Understand and communicate customes’s business needs to resolve issues timely and implement intitatives to build collaborative and trusted business relations.
• Assist with PEM Service supply issues focusing on qualtiy and continuity issues.
• Assist with Labour and invoice issues focusing on communication and awareness for all parties.
• Ensure Company Marketing plans and programs are implemented, tracked and reported on every month.
• Ensure customer feedback is used to influence process improvements.
• Achieve cost savings through effective use of resources.
• Ensure targets, due dates and quality standards are met.
• Identify potential markets for Dealer opportunities.

About You:

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

• Must have Grade 12 school certificate.
• Tertiary Qualification in Business or related is desirable.
• Must have a PNG Driver’s license.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in customer facing role within a diversified Company.
• Experience in the mining, mining services or heavy earthmoving industries
• Good understanding of Hastings Deering and Caterpillar support systems or similar
• Excellent computer knowledge, working with Microsoft Office.
