About the Role:

Hastings Deering (PNG) Limited is currently recruiting for a Parts Expeditor to join our Parts & Operations Team based in Port Moresby, National Capital District.

This role primarily exists to ensure all orders are processed promptly and accurately to provide maximum customer satisfaction and eliminate the possibility of failing to satisfy our customer needs.

Reporting to the Parts & Operations Manager, PNG & Solomon Islands, your competency, and experience will include:

• Ensure safety goals are achieved through personal commitment, no harm to self or others and participation in safety initiatives.
• Proactively seek and maintain collaborative working relationships with peers and manager to deliver results.
• Ensure stakeholder expectations and service standards are understood and delivered within agreed timeframes.
• Achieve reliable results by utilization of agreed methods and measures.
• Make certain all equipment users and influencers perceive that Caterpillar Equipment, Parts and Service are of the highest quality and the best long-term investment.
• All assigned tasks must be completed within acceptable target times.
• Make sure all internal customers are immediately acknowledged via phone, email, or face to face.

About You:

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

• Must have Grade 12 school certificate.
• Tertiary Qualification in Business or related is desirable.
• Minimum two years’ experience working in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
• Experience working within a leadership capacity.
• Strong customer focus, good communication, negotiating, planning and organizational skills.
• Experience in the mining, mining services or heavy earthmoving industries
