About the role

This position reports to coordinator – Logistics and is responsible for liaising with exploration geologists to ensure that exploration activities are carried out in the most cost effective and timely manner. This will involve planning, scheduling, and implementing of exploration activities, particularly regarding remote exploration camps using both road transport and helicopters.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Purchasing and supplying of dry goods and equipment to remote sites.
• Organisation and implementing helicopter sling loads and internal loads
• Negotiating with local communities to get the best outcome in regards delivery of goods to site.
• Stocktaking of all sites regarding food and basic drilling equipment.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role with drilling & exploration teams and have a current class 6 driver’s license. In addition to this, you will have some or all the following.

• Familiar with basic drill rigs consumables.
• Proficient at both MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Must demonstrate very good organizational and time management skills.
• Experience in working under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Must be honest, reliable, and trustworthy who maintain confidentiality and acquit cash advances.
