Logistics Manager with a passion for optimising supply chain operations? Key Responsibilities Oversee logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, inventory control, and compliance with safety policies.
- Build strong relationships with customers, third-party providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and operations.
- Collaborate across production, sales, and procurement to optimise supply chain efficiency and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team to meet business objectives and deliver excellent customer service.
- Manage the annual budget, ensuring cost control, regulatory compliance, and alignment with business plans.
Qualifications and skills - Proven experience as a Logistics Manager in the FMCG sector with expertise in distribution, warehouse, and inventory management.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields, along with strong financial acumen.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management or a related field within FMCG or similar industries.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, meet tight deadlines, and manage change effectively.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, with a strong customer service orientation and focus on excellence.
