Grand Columbia Ltd is seeking suitable candidates to fill in the role of a Licensed Electrician. The Licensed Electrician must have HVAC experience in electrical controls for Air-Conditioning operations in commercial buildings.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
• Installs conduits and pipes to industrial/commercial electrical wires and cables.
• Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.
• Inspects / Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
• Replaces Circuit breakers, conduit and wiring as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Must be physically fit for standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read blueprints (Electrical drawings).
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
• Extensive knowledge in HVAC systems.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electrician’s license required.
