The Role An exciting job opportunity is available for an experienced
Trade Electrician to be based in
Bulolo with their immediate family. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance and conducting inspections at the farm.
Key Responsibilities - Perform unscheduled and preventive maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical utilities on the farm
- Recommended best practices and system improvements
- Plan and execute new projects
- Supervise and lead the assigned team
- Lead toolbox meetings
- Plan and organise work schedules
- Ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Conduct safety checks and inspections on electrical utilities
Qualifications and skills - Qualified and Licensed Electrician (PNG Power) or Tradesman (NATT) with minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Proven experience in domestic and industrial installations
- Ability to build control panels and distribution boards
- Skilled in interpreting single-line diagrams, schematic drawings and termination diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Available to work extended hours and respond to call-outs as needed.
- Strong communication and people management skills
- Must be physically fit to perform maintenance tasks
