IT Systems Support Officer

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced IT Professional to join our IT team at Hargy Oil Palms Limited (HOPL).

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Support Officer to provide effective IT support across HOPL operational sites. The successful candidate will maintain and support IT hardware, software, and infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations across HOPL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve IT issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
• Support, configure, and maintain corporate servers, client computers, and IT systems.
• Monitor system performance, security, and hardware functionality.
• Install and integrate new hardware, software, and system patches.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security access.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and staff for system improvements and training.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and ensure failover solutions are in place.
• Maintain IT documentation, system configurations, and compliance standards.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and change management processes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in ICT infrastructure & system administration.
• Expertise in server maintenance, virtualization, backup solutions, and Microsoft 365/Azure Entra.
• Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and security assessment skills.
• Ability to manage IT projects and create system documentation.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in rural areas when required.
