IT Support Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensuring companywide connectivity by proactively managing internal infrastructure.
• Ensuring robust network stability and security.
• Managing internal user access.
• Providing recommendations on technological and architectural strategy for future developments.
• Providing swift assistance to rectify internal IT issues.

Skills and Specifications

• Must have troubleshooting & computer hardware Knowledge.
• Must have Server management and printer knowledge.
• Must have SQL data management skills.
• Must have Storage management knowledge (SAN, NAS, Disk Arrays).
• Must have Windows, Unix and Mac operating system knowledge.
• Must have experience in supporting both local and cloud-based software applications.
• Must have Networking skills.
• Must have working knowledge of internet connection technologies (VSAT, Fibre Optic, P2P wireless).
• Must have active listening skills.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have ability to learn and articulate technical information.
• Must be flexible with working hours.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
