NextGen Technology Limited is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled IT Staff member to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining our IT infrastructure, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The IT Staff will work closely with other departments to address technical issues and implement new systems that enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide end-users onsite and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Assist in setting up and managing network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates for operating systems, software, and other IT equipment.
• Monitor and manage data backup systems and ensure the integrity of company data.
• Diagnose problems with domain configurations, hosting, and emails, migrations and server management.
• Monitor server’s health, status, disk management and routine backups
• Manage and maintain the company's website.
• Support CCTV installation and maintenance projects.
• Document IT processes and maintain records of all hardware and software installations and configurations.
• Assist with implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data security and privacy.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors for specialized IT services as needed.

Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), server management, and network protocols.
• Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting, system setups, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with website hosting, domain management, and email services (e.g., Webmail, Name Server management).
• Familiarity with web hosting control panels (e.g., cPanel, Plesk, WHM).
• Experience with CCTV systems, backup servers (Server 2012), and cloud storage solutions.
• Good communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
