About the role

Responsible for operating the IT Loader in a safe and appropriate manner to carry out earth moving task as directed by the shift supervisor for general operations.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Safely operate IT Loader as part of underground work plan pre task jobs.
• Perform daily safety prestart maintenance checks.
• Clean loader as scheduled and/or required.
• Perform other related earth moving or haul road construction duties.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you must obtain a minimum qualification of Grade 10 or above with experience in operating Front-End loaders Volvo L90G and L90H or similar models and must have 2+ years’ experience in operating a loader. In addition to this, you will have some or all the following.

• Possess current Class 7 driver’s license.
• Must have operating certificate.
• Ability to work with close supervision.
• Must have Underground Mining experience.
