The Role
Are you an experienced HR professional ready to take on a strategic leadership role? We are looking for a
Human Resource Manager to provide expert guidance and leadership across all facets of HR, from talent acquisition to policy development, performance management, and organisational change. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will shape HR strategies that drive company success while ensuring compliance, engagement, and best HR practices.
This role reports directly to the
General Manager and Chief Executive Officer, leading a dedicated HR team and collaborating closely with senior managers.
Key Responsibilities: - Strategic HR Leadership – Provide expert advice on workforce planning, performance management, and organisational change.
- Policy Development & Compliance – Ensure HR policies align with business goals and adhere to PNG employment legislation.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding – Manage end-to-end recruitment, ensuring the right talent is attracted and retained.
- Employee Relations & Coaching – Offer guidance to managers on performance management and workplace relations.
- Learning & Development – Promote professional development opportunities and oversee the People Development Framework.
- Payroll & Benefits Management – Ensure accurate payroll processes, including salary structuring, superannuation, and medical benefits.
Key Requirements: - Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- 10+ years' experience in HR leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of PNG employment laws and contemporary HR best practices.
- Proven ability to develop HR strategies and drive organisational change.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Membership with the PNG Human Resource Institute is essential.
