We’re looking for a HR Business Partner to support the Coral Sea Hotels group, drive talent strategies, and cultivate a culture of excellence. In this fast-paced industry, people are at the heart of every great guest experience—and you’ll play a key role in empowering our teams to deliver outstanding service.

Role Description

The HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in leading and managing essential HR operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a thriving workplace environment.

  • HR Strategy – Develops and aligns HR initiatives with business goals, ensuring the organization attracts, retains, and nurtures top talent while fostering a strong workplace culture.

  • Talent Management – Oversees recruitment, development, and retention strategies to build a high-performing workforce, including succession planning and leadership development.

  • Workforce Management – Ensures the right staffing levels, optimises workforce planning, and drives employee productivity while addressing organisational needs and compliance requirements.

  • Support Services – Provides guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, workplace issues, and best practices to create a positive and efficient work environment.

  • Employee Compensation & Benefits Management – Oversees the execution and administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring seamless delivery, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals to enhance employee well-being, engagement, and retention.

Required Experience

  • 10 years or more Payroll & employee administration experience
  • 5 years or more managerial experience in HR

Qualifications and Key Competencies

  • Degree in Human Resource, Business Management, or similar field of studies
  • Understands principles of People Management & Culture change
  • Able to understand Salary benchmarking (Korn Ferry-Hay Group)
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment related taxes
  • Comprehensive understanding of Personnel budgeting and forecasting
  • Comprehensive understanding of HRIT systems used by Central HR
  • Effective in Stakeholder management, problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Able to create and present management presentations and reports.
  • Has successful change project management experience, from conception to evaluation stage.
