Highway Truck Driver experience will be responsible for safe transportation and delivery of goods and materials using different highway routes (Wau/Bulolo/Highlands and Madang Highway).

Key roles and responsibilities

• Ensure truck inspection for mechanical and safety issues and report any preventative maintenance.
• Adhere to set guidelines , standard procedures and policies of the company.
• Maintain communication with immediate supervisor and clients
• Ensure transportation of goods and items are safely delivered
• Perform loading and unloading cargoes using different side loader
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Ensure precheck document is signed
• Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
• Collect and verify delivery instruction and report any defect

Qualification And Experience

• At least Gr10/12
• Familiarity with driving along Bulolo, Highlands highway and K92 Mining
• More then 5years experience in driving
• Able to read and write in English and fluent in pidgin.
• Fluent in both Pidgin & English both verbal and written
• Experience in driving Hino-500,Hino-700, Western Star trucks and Astra
• Appropriate valid driving license class 4
• Appropriate defensive and preventative driving skills is bonus
