About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to lead and oversee the financial operations of a premier hospitality establishment. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with the company’s goals, upholding high standards in luxury hospitality and retail services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage accurate financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements).
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop annual budgets aligned with strategic goals.
  • Perform variance analysis, comparing actual financial performance against budgets.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Assess and mitigate financial risks through strong control measures.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and information during audits.
  • Conduct internal audits to evaluate and strengthen internal controls.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity for operational needs.
  • Implement strategies to optimize working capital.
  • Ensure compliance with both local and international tax regulations.
  • Provide insights through financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team for accurate and timely financial operations.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of financial systems for enhanced efficiency.
  • Present financial information and insights to executive leadership and the board.



Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in hospitality accounting or a related industry.
  • Proven track record in financial statement preparation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong grasp of hospitality accounting principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated work ethic and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork, collaboration skills, and effective communication abilities.
