About the role

To operate Travel buses and light vehicles in accordance with the approved travel schedule, Daily Staff Movement (DSM), to transport company personnel and others as may be directed, in a safe and efficient manner.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Undertake the safe handling of buses and light vehicles in transporting employees to and from work as required by the DSM.
• Operate buses or other vehicles in accordance with K92 safety procedures.
• Conduct a daily inspection of the allocated vehicle and ensure that it is fully serviceable and safe to operate. Notify maintenance of any defects requiring attention.
• Assist to drive and influence proactive safety behaviors within workgroups through visible leadership.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you must obtain a minimum qualification of Grade 10 or above with three (3) years’ experience in operating buses, trucks and light vehicles. In addition to this, you will have some or all the following.

• Possess current Class six (6) driver’s license.
• A minimum of Grade 10 education.
• Experience in driving Madang – Lae highway.
• You must maintain a personal focus on safe vehicle operation.
• You must be of sober habits and able to work with minimum supervision.
