DRAFTSMAN x 1

Reporting to the Senior Draftsman, the incumbent will be responsible for architectural and structural drawings in preparation for Building Permit Applications, Structural Certification and necessary certifications of proposed development and construction. The successful candidate for this role must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of Grade 12 qualification
• Should possess a Technical/Tertiary qualification in Architectural Drafting
• Must have at least 5 years of work experience in similar role, preferably in design and structural drafting
• Must be computer literate and proficient in the use of AutoCAD and drafting design related software
• Must be comprehensive in technical drawings
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision to meet project deadlines
• Must have good communication, organisational and time management skills
• Have some experience and knowledge about Safety Standards and Policies.
