want to become part of a dynamic team. We are currently looking for suitable, qualified, experienced, and highly motivated professional to fill the DART Site Supervsior role to be based in Daru, Western Province.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The purpose of this role is to ensure quality of care of patients initiated on treatment in Health facilities continue at the community and supported by treatment supporters as part of continuum of care. Accountable for the documentation of activities conducted and supplied materials that were supported by the Project. Plans, coordinates and implements strategies and activities together with partner staff and Treatment supporters and Responsible for the field implementation of approved activities

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the DART Sites

  • receive referrals from DGH and assign to Treatment Supporters,
  • supervise Treatment Supporters,
  • coordinate with WV Program Manager, DGH Focal person and local community leaders
  • Assist the Project Manager and DART Coordinator in Training Treatment Supporters
  • Perform daily drug injections
  • Prepare daily drug ration/packets for all DS/DRTB patients under his/her care
  • Screen patients that need to be referred to DGH

Track and prepare reports including:

  • Prepare weekly reports
  • Track sputum monitoring
  • Patients with possible side effects

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma in Nursing or Community Health Worker
  • Has experienced in hospital/clinical practice (knows how to inject drugs, dispense medicines, etc.)
  • Training on the TB Program a plus
  • Experience with non-profit organization
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) both in English and local dialects
  • Time management skills
  • People Management skills
  • Proven experience as a team player
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills
