POSITION VACANCY

CreditBank PNG is recruiting a suitable candidate for the role of Customer Service Officer (CSO)

As a Customer Service Officer, you’ll be a key player in delivering exceptional service and ensuring a smooth, positive experience for every customer that walks through our doors (or reaches out online). Role is responsible for individual and business account onboarding, assisting with Visa card issuance, resolving customer queries, and taking referrals for lending products. The role will contribute to the overall success of the branch by ensuring customers receive top-notch service and helping them make the most of our offerings.

Key responsibilities:

Customer Experience

  • Conduct face-to-face interviews and take telephone enquiries with current and prospective clients regarding CBP Products and Services.
  • Develop enduring relationships with CBP existing and prospective customers and demonstrate a solid understanding of key business sectors and industries.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring superior service delivery. Address customer concerns and complaints promptly, ensuring resolution and continual service improvement.

Governance, Risk and Compliance

  • Adhere to all Financial Prudential Standards and governance, risk and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all internal frameworks, policies and procedures.

Problem Solving & Decision Making: Make quick and informed decisions in response to operational challenges or customer issues. Follow escalation protocols when in doubt.

Other duties

  • Other duties as required by the Customer Service Supervisor/Branch Manager.
  • The duty statement may be amended from time to time to reflect the changing requirements of the position.

Key requirements

Role Required Competencies

  • 2+ years or more experience in a financial institution.
  • 2+ years’ experience in credit/loan assessment or loans officer role.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) / interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, database, accounting software.
