Corporate Affairs Manager to take their advocacy and public relations efforts to new heights.
The Role
As the
Corporate Affairs Manager, you will lead the charge in engaging with government bodies, developing policy positions, and ensuring the company’s strategies align with national regulations and corporate goals. Reporting directly to the GM, you’ll mentor and coach your team, work closely with external stakeholders, and have a direct impact on shaping the company’s standing in the market.
Key Responsibilities: - Government Advocacy: Develop and manage a comprehensive engagement program with government bodies, including ICCC and immigration.
- Policy Development: Craft and advocate for policy positions that support the company’s economic sustainability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders, governmental bodies, and other key stakeholders.
- Regulatory Compliance: Navigate complex regulatory landscapes to ensure the company stays compliant with all legal requirements.
- Event Management: Oversee corporate events, including conferences, government seminars, and engagement dinners.
- Mentorship: Provide strong leadership to your team, fostering development and growth.
Key Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in government relations or corporate affairs, ideally within PNG.
- Strong network and relationships with government bodies such as ICCC and immigration.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- A tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Policy, or Law is preferred.
