Company Driver

Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 6 Company Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely driving company vehicles, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and upkeep. Preference will be given to candidates living in Hohola, 2 Mile, 3 Mile, 4 Mile, or Boroko areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 6 vehicle for daily transportation of goods and employees to various locations.
• Ensure timely deliveries to customers and company departments.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, performing regular checks and basic maintenance tasks.
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations while driving.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo as required, ensuring goods are securely transported.
• Keep accurate records of daily trips, fuel usage, and maintenance logs.
• Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays to the supervisor immediately.
• Ensure vehicles are inspected regularly and take proactive steps to prevent breakdowns.
• Assist with other company tasks as needed, such as running errands or transporting equipment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 6 driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Knowledge of the local roads and areas, especially Hohola, 2 Mile, 3 Mile, 4 Mile, and Boroko.
• Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Good physical condition to load/unload goods when necessary.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet delivery schedules.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge preferred.

Location Preference:

• Candidates residing in Hohola, 2 Mile, 3 Mile, 4 Mile, or Boroko areas will be given priority.

Work Environment:

• Full-time position with regular working hours, and occasional overtime or weekend work as needed.
• Driving in and around the city, with occasional long-distance travel.
