The Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Chief Operating Officer to join their executive team. As a key member of the organisation's leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and success.

The COO will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and alignment with its' strategic goals. The role reports directly to the Group General Manager and will be working closely with other senior executives to develop and implement effective operational strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to drive growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations and ensure that all functions are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of executives, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to protect the company's assets and reputation.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Financial Performance: Monitor and improve financial performance, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
Key Requirements
  • Strong Security Experience: Proven experience in diplomatic and financial security, close protection, or other relevant security roles.
  • Leadership and Management: Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams and organizations.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial skills, including experience in tendering, cost management, and financial analysis.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, particularly in multicultural environments.
