AUTO-ELECTRICIAN - FARM BASED

Zenag Chicken is the longest established and leading producer of high-quality chickens and eggs in PNG. Established in 1946 with its corporate HQ in Lae Industrial Centre and Poultry Farm based outside of Lae which supplies quality eggs and chicken throughout PNG.

We are looking for a qualified Auto Electrician who will be an asset to the workshop department. This position reports to the Workshop Manager and works closely with the transport and logistics team.

Duties:

• Responsible for Alternator and Starter repair

• Responsible for all trouble Troubleshooting of all company vehicles and Heavy Equipment

• Responsible of all machine’s electrical components
• Responsible for ensuring to maximize the availability of all company fleets and equipment
• Responsible for reporting and making request of any auto electrical spare materials
• Responsible for Proper housekeeping and after work are done
• Responsible for other duties as assigned from time to time

Skills and Specifications

• Must have Trade certificate/diploma in Automotive/Auto-Electrical from a recognized technical school
• Must have experience and knowledge in using diagnostic tools
• Must be familiar with all types of electrical cables, relays, ECU & EDU

• Must have good understanding of electrical/electronic circuit troubleshooting
• Must know how to read symbols and interpret wiring diagrams
• Must have extensive knowledge of Kenworths Trucks

• Must have Minimum of 3 years’ experience

• Must be Physically fit & Safety cautious to work in the workshop

• Must be flexible with working hours
• Must possess good communication skills
