The Workshop Admin Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Workshop Supervisor and mechanics in the workshop. They will assist in ensuring that daily operations run smoothly by carrying out a range of administrative and logistical duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare daily document transmittals from workshop to HQ.
Conduct diesel inventory reconciliation.
Refuel fleet and heavy equipment onsite.
Assist with the dispatching and issuance of keys to operators and drivers.
Log all key issuance in the record book.
Monitor and update equipment and fleet registration and sticker requirements.
Job Requirements
Grade 10 and 12 or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative or logistics role.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and refueling procedures is a plus.

The Workshop Admin Assistant may be required to:
Lift and move heavy objects, up to a certain weight limit, as part of the refueling process or equipment handling.
Stand or walk for extended periods of time while performing tasks in the workshop.
May work in a workshop environment, which can involve exposure to noise, odors, and mechanical hazards. They may also be required to work overtime or on weekends to support workshop operations.
May need to travel to assist in workshop repair and maintenance operations at other sites.
