Reservation Sales Supervisor
We are now recruiting for a Reservations Supervisor. The Reservations Supervisor will be based in Port Moresby at our Vision City Sales Office and will report directly to the Reservations Manager. The Reservation Sales Supervisor will be responsible to provide full time reservations, ticket sales and customer service for the Company.
Key responsibilities include:
- Looking after the evening shift staff making sure each sales agents their takings are checked every night from Monday to Friday and every second weekend apart from his RDOs
- Ensuring all cash sales are balanced with their VRS agent sales reports.
- Ensuring all evening staff members are following the company rules and regulations
- Reservations procedures, providing the highest customer service to our valued clients, and doing supervisory roles on what the company would expect him/her to do in the commercial team
- Assist Agents do Computer reservations & ticketing using Videcom Reservations System (VRS)
- Collect payments for ticket sales in cash, by cheque, purchase orders, credit cards, bank cards (EFTPOS) or through direct deposits using VRS providing the funds to be cleared by finance section.
- Attend to general enquiries from customers/ clients and redirecting onto other departments within the Company e.g. Cargo, Accounts or HR.
- Ensure that general office procedures are adhered to at all times;
- by balancing of sales reports to the cash sales and other forms of payment (FOP) for the supervisor to check at the end of each shift.
- by clocking in / out on time,
- by adhering to ones’ own work roster,
- by ensuring that the cash box is locked at all times
- by ensuring that at the end of the day’s work, any office electrical appliances/items are switched off and safely put away before closing the office for the day.
Qualifications/Experiences
- Minimum of Grade 12 level education with attainment of relevant tertiary qualifications
- Relevant working experience or understanding of work requirement
- Must have no criminal records
- Must possess good customer relations skills
- Must be able to work on the weekends/ on shifts
