About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler with experience in planning, scheduling and project controls in delivery of project schedules. This role will be based out of our Port Moresby Office.
Key/ Major responsibilities
- Engaging with Project Managers to develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 software and MS Projects
- Make sure tasks are done in the right order, keeping in mind what needs to be done first and any limitations.
- Ensure resources (team members, equipment, etc.) are properly allocated and balanced across projects.
- Check for delays and find out why things are taking longer. Also, determine how much time is needed to get back on track.
About You
- Minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a Scheduling role, ideally in a maintenance, mining, or industrial setting
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
