Cook/ House Keeper

Zenag Chicken has pioneered the poultry industry in Papua New Guinea for over 75 years.

We are seeking a reliable Cook/ House Keeper to run the operations of our Guest House located at Zenag Farm.

The role will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes ensuring that food is of high quality and maintaining a clean and organised Guest House and Kitchen.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and cooking daily meals.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the Kitchen.
• Ensuring proper storage of food supplies.
• Ensuring recipes are precisely followed.
• Maintaining a proactive inventory of household items.
• Recording payroll data.
• Maintaining the effective housekeeping of the Guest House, including laundry & ironing
• Conducting Training to Staff ensuring Health & Safety Protocols are adhered to.

Requirements:

• Must be a graduate in Tourism & Hospitality, Cookery, Hotel Management Course or any related similar filed.
• Have 3 years House Keeping/Culinary Experience
• Must be able to prepare different culinary needs of the guest.
• Must have the ability to read & comprehend recipes.
• Ensure that safety and hygiene regulations are followed.
• Flexible with working time.
• Good communication skills
• Must be Trustworthy & Reliable.
