Tax Support Services Officer

KPMG PNG Port Moresby provides a full range of Tax, Audit and Advisory services to government and large corporate clients across a range of major projects and industry sectors. We are looking for a dynamic Tax Support Services Officer to join our Support Services team. This will be a challenging and fulfilling opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate with a polished & professional attitude.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Printing and receipting electronic and hard correspondence.
  • Scanning lodged documents and saving them on the respective client folders on the server.
  • Scanning IRC notices and saving them on the respective folders on the server.
  • Creation and maintenance of files.
  • Binding/Printing/Shredding and adhoc administration duties.
  • Document Delivery.
  • Trust Banking.
  • IRC & IPA Runs
    • Lodgements & Payments and Follow ups
    • Return documents scanned and saved to relevant folders
    • Requesting statement of accounts and annual stationary
    • Submitting Tax Refund
    • Company Search/Extract
  • Preparation of routine ROC and IPA statutory documents.
  • Assisting in preparation of basic IRC remittance forms for clients.
  • Compose content for certain non-complex client communications.

  • Ability to communicate with staff and clients on an informal and formal basis.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with staff and clients and in addition an ability to mix socially with people at all levels of responsibility.
  • Organised, methodical and responsible work habits.
  • Co-operative, friendly manner with good communication skills.
  • A high degree of organisational and presentation skills.
  • Team player who understands instructions well.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Willing to be available at any time to assist clients with their affairs.
  • Willingness to commit a substantial amount of personal time to the maintenance of the highest standard of professional competence.
