Pikinini Kisim Save Program is a large 3-year education program funded by the Australian Government through the PNG Partnerships Fund (PPF). The program, will work in consortium across 4 provinces. The program aims to address the gaps in elementary education by strengthening existing education stakeholders and service providers in three key areas: 1) quality of elementary teaching to improve literacy learning outcomes; 2) community and parental support for girls’ education; and 3) subnational management and coordination in the education sector. Consortium partners include INGOs, government agencies, tertiary educational institutions, and Church Education Agencies.

We are looking to hire highly motivated individuals who can fill the role of:

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Coordinator (Goroka)

The primary focus of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Coordinator (MELC) is to manage all MEL communications and activities for the Project. The position will work closely with the Program Manager and MEL Advisor to oversee all MEL activities including comprehensive baseline and endline surveys, research studies and ongoing monitoring. The position will provide critical support to the overall design, planning, development, coordination and implementation of project activities. The MELC is required to have demonstrated experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning including the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, well developed leadership and management skills, as well as a good understanding of project cycle management and gender.

This role is based in Goroka and will require travel to rural, remote areas.
